In dragon ball z they stopped using the blurred fists animation technique after the freeza saga and just animated the character normally. Would you say they no longer had super speed?

Besides we've seen them do that enough times to show they can fight at superspeed.

Also its a fair bet that when two characters who have vast super speed are flying along at faster than light speed while fighting each other that they're using their speed.

If we saw Superman actually speedblitzing Wonder woman you'd have an argument.
