nah, Im not Xmeat or whatever...I just know Hulk has no upper strength limit. And has insane durability on top of regeneration. One of the few heros classified as Unlimited in Strength/Power/Destructiveness.
And I'm well aware of Superman's strengths and weaknesses. It seems like a lot of people here want to turn him into a let loose type of guy when thats not his character. In fact its unlikely he would even try to damage Hulk unless he was threatening Lois or other innocents or something anyway.

Read the forum rules.
He'll be going all out. He'll actually be attacking.
Another thing is that badly written lobotomy episode was one of the worst ever. Superman is not capable of burning through his own skin because it doesnt work that way on his physiology.
If it wont work on his dense skin, he definitely couldn't burn through DD's or Hulks for that matter. Bad writing for the sake of a interesting look at an alterate Justice League.
K - I get what you are saying Symmetric
with those Rules it would favor Superman because he could likely KO Hulk early on before he could get angry enough. But under Kent's more traditonal character and behaviour, Hulk would likely come out on top in a fist fight (not counting other powers of Superman) Kent tends to dink around with people - which favors Hulk in a fight.

I like him, We can mold him into one of our greatest users. 😈
Well thats kind of the potential problems with some of these posts.
Superman's heroic character and very strong resistance to taking lives/killing is what makes him who he is. Removing that for the sake of a fight is a bit strange, cause its more like someone else (with a killing mentality) fighting inside of superman's body. Character comes in to play BIG time in these types of fights. but anyway....
Back on topic, Althought I think a killing mode Superman could take Hulk down early enough....But I still dont believe that the Cartoon version could hurt Hulk.
For instance...compare Supermans cartoon fight with someone like Grundy/Darkseid, and compare that to Thor & the avenger's fight with the Hulk in Ultimate Avengers. I just don't see Cartoon Supes stopping any version of Hulk, even cutting loose.

The fight is typically to the characters full ability. in comics and television a reader typically wants to see this prolonged, however most people in a fight do not usally waste time and a real Superman would typically fight to the best of his ability. Noting how scans are useful to show what the chracter is indeed capable of.

Yeah, I take back what I said about him being a sock or a fanboy. You're right, Clark would dink around if he was fighting in character. But it will inevitably come down to Clark figuring out that Hulk gets stronger over time, so he'll go all out like he did with DD the first time.
He is in character but their's no one around to get hurt so he can go all out.

Actually yeah it was a great what if type of episode that shocks you and leaves you like ...."wow"But the writers kind of fudged his abilities here....but it was fun to watch.
The DCAU shows are some of the few animated shows i can actually stand for descent writing and animation. But I know exactly what you mean.
