I was talking to a friend about using whey powder, and he was telling me that the stuff is useless and only makes you gain weight. I disagreed and told him that it makes you gain muscle weight, not fat. He disagreed. So tell me, what exactly does whey powder do? Because I started "the abs diet" and it suggests using whey powder in milkshakes, but idk about that now
Ok here's the thing. I was extremely overweight. Like, 100 pounds over weight. I did every diet out there. Took the shakes the bars, everything. And I lost weight, at one point I lost 60 pounds. But the thing is, if you stop those diets for more than 3-4 days, you gain the weight back rapidly. I gained the 60 pounds I lost, back in 2 months.
So, instead, I started eating healthier, drinking only water and green tea. And I exercise 4 times a week. I've lost 110 pounds in 8 months. I'm 135 pounds, and I'm happy, strong and healthy.
Don't do those odd diets, and don't take those shakes, pills, powders, etc. Because they'll only work from a short amount of time and if you stop taking them, you'll go back to the way you were.
You want abs? I now have a 4, almost 6 pack. This is how I did it.
Drink only water and tea, nothing else.
Lower your carb intake, don't cut them out, just lower it. Up you protein.
3 times a day do 30 minutes of non-stop ab work. I usually did it before I ate, but I know it's hard if you go to school. I recommend, you do atleast 600 crunches a day.
And instead of three meals, make it 6 small meals.
Trust me it works.
I now feel so much better, I look great, and shockingly my metabolism is so much higher now. So on days I feel like eating a Big Mac and Fries with a strawberry shake, I can do it and not feel bad about it.
Eat healthy and exercise. That truly is the ONLY way to do it.
