I need a quick answer, so what are the new signature limits?

They are. It's 540x150 pixels and 50kb.

Why wasn't this made is the sig fourm?

And the size limits are cool, but the file size limits suck.

If it was made in the sig forum it would have been closed because I know the limits are posted in at least 2 threads in there.

And 50kb is plenty. It used to be 30kb and everyone was able to work fine with that.

Its 800x1300

And its 12kb.

Yeah but I'd prefer to be able to save my sigs in a better format then .jpeg.

You can. Just need to make sure the file size is small enough. Not that there's anything wrong with JPGs if you know how to optimize files (which is incredibly easy).

Not everyone on here has highspeed internet, you know. Not really fair to lag people's computers.

Umm, you're complaining about the sig sizes. And the reason there is a limit is because of the fact that if the limit was too much larger it would cause people's computers and connections to lag.

And I was also pointing out that you CAN use other formats than JPGs, and that JPGs are fine if you know how to optimize them. Which is incredibly easy.
