He might be powerful but I Stranger or Shaper of Worlds couldn't control Hulk neither can Kaine.

Kain is the ultimate Vampire after the heart of that guy in the tomb, Janos I believe his name was, was ripped from his chest by raziel he no longer has any weaknesses.
Kain takes this, before he was murderet wasn't he supposed to become the guardin of the pillar of balance the most powerful of them all, I support Sam Z Marvels options against Kain is very small.
I'd say people who could speed blitz him would win him. His damage soak isn't that great. He can be killed with just swords & arrows.
If you go directly by the game, he'd need to charge his reaver before (By dealing damage by normal attacks or feeding it blood/souls) being able to unleash the powers of it.
If He was full power and had access to all his powers instantly, I'd say Dr. Strange would be a good match for him.
Kain is pretty fast himself, so speed blitzing him ain't that easy. Besides he can teleport and has tk. Making it almost impossible.
And he can't be killed by arrows or swords. In fact, he can't be killed at all. He's immortal. Destroy his body, it'll instantly reform.
But i agree, Doc Strange is one of those few that would be a threat to Kain.

He's not that fast. He's able to turn into mist though, but it wasn't shown wether he can utilize his powers while in the form. He can only "teleport" (Changing into a group of batz) on certain spots. His Tk wasn't either very impressive. The greatest thing he did? Uh, flung guys to spikes and such.
KO counts as a victory. Raziel did kill him in the game, though he was resurrected wth the Heart of Janos Audron. Sentry could propably beat him via Speedblitz.
What's your favourite LoK game? I didn't really like Defiance, though the voice acting and the ending of the game was pretty good. + I loved to play with the evolved Kain, though he was pretty much the same.
Soul reaver 2 & 1 were my favs.

He can fly and teleport whenever he wants, and not only by changing into bats. He can just vanish and reappear in another place like he did after the fight with Elder God. And Kain can't be koed or killed. Raziel didn't kill him, he ripped his heart (the heart of darkness that was supposed to be a source of his life) but it turned out that Kain no longer needs it and when he lost his heart, he lost his only weakness.
The only person that could kill him was Rasiel, and now he's Kain's weapon. Yeah, defiance wasn't that good. Camera sucked and gameplay was a bit poor. My fav is first Soul Reaver on psx. Now that was a great game!

Now he's in marvel universe where he's not immortal as he's not bound to be the savior of the Vampire race or the restorer of balance.
Besides, there aren't any red markers around.

Red markers are only made for gamers, they are checkpoints.
If he's hit enough times his body will be destroyed and instantly reformed. But in the game play he appears near the chekpoint for obvious reason and all the enemy you destroyed remain dead. And he's not only immortal in LOK universe, he's just immortal, it's been confirmed several times. Exactly why threads like this shouldn't exist. Comics only. So, when debating games, we'll have to take everything very literally.
Uh, Vampire generally have been described as undying. That was their curse, remember? Besides, have you tried to lose in the last mission where you have to fight the Elder god?
He can be knocked out, has happened before. Just before the events of Blood omen 2 he was "mortally wounded". Which left him in a coma like state for years.
And, in my game manual (Translated to finnish though) It says that whenever your healt drops to zero Kain retreats to the latest check point to gather his strenght. So it's a willful decission and not an automate thing for him. So if he's hit with enough damage before he can react, he should die. Or at least be KOed.

I don't know how that proves that he's immortal. Darkseid's immortal in DC, but what if he's brought in to MU where Source has no power. He wont be immortal anymore.
