Villain for the sequel to "The Dark Knight"

Okay, we know that the Joker is going to be the villain in the next film & it'd probably be best for it to only be one villain. Well, in the film after "The Dark Knight", I'd like the villain to be Bane, Mr. Freeze, or Two-Face. Hopefully, if Bane does appear in one of the Batman flicks, he'll be as intelligent & cunning as he was in the comics & cartoons. They would need to cast someone anywhere from 6'4-6'7 & he'd need to be really muscular & would need to be able to pull off Bane's accent. If Christopher Nolan could pull that off, that'd be sweet.

We know that Harvey Dent becomes Two-Face after The Dark Knight. I don't know if any villians are in it. I will eventually find out. You have some great choices for the next one after TDK, but I don't Bane. I doubt if Bane will be in it, for the simple fact that 1st, Robin has to be in it first., 2nd. Who is going to protect Gotham City after Bruce's back is broken? 3rd. We have to just wait and see.

Arnold could be Mr Freeze again 😂

Bullshit. This isn't the comics and Knightfall isn't the only story that could feature Bane, but I'd shy away from that. Stick to early enemies and realism. Bane just wouldn't work... I call Two Face and... hmmm... Scarecrow can return. I always liked the idea of Talia coming for revenge or whatever.
My list of possible villains, many of these being only secondary or tertiary enemies who could just be mob thugs etc:

Two Face
Scarecrow
Penguin (a mobster)
Black Mask
Firefly
Cornelius Stirk
Zsasz again
Talia
Ra's al Ghul (returning)
Ventriloquist
Catwoman
Maroni
Blockbuster
Hell, any mobsters...

Who says that Batman's back HAS to be broken? They don't have to do it & would still be able to keep Bane true to the comics.

I really think they need to make some kinda use outta Scarecrow... I mean they put the poor guy in Begins and then do practically nothing with his character... I mean he was barely in it at all....... he needs a spot in the sequel (although that is highly unlikely) or he needs to have a commanding role in the third film, if it even gets made.

So yeah, we just need to do something with his character rather than say "Here he is, this is what he does, and now he will disappear never to be seen or heard from again!"... its just so wasteful!

Bane just doesn't make any sense. He is not needed whatsoever.

I'd say Two-Face, Riddler, and a bunch of side villains if they don't use them in TDK.

Riddler as the main villain, with Two-Face and mobsters having different ideas. Two-Face wants to rub out Riddler and Rupert Thorne/Black Mask/whoever (but of course, Batman doesn't want them to be killed, just arrested). Riddler has his own plot of some sorts. Two-Face could hire Firefly to distract Batman and get him out of their hair (good fight scene I'd think). I'd actually like to see Selina as the "love interest" kind of person, though I wouldn't make her a huge character. She'd basically be there for the "Bruce Wayne dealing with being Batman" scenes. Essentially, she'd represent what would happen if Batman chose to go the Two-Face route, I guess. Since Nolan said he doesn't want Grayson to show up, I won't bother with him, though I'd like to see him as like a 13 year old or something.

I so want Catwoman in the 3rd film!.. love interest or good villain

Fascinating. Riddler and Two-Face do make a great tag team for Batmn. How about the introduction of Dick Grayson/Robin?

HMMMMM Seline Kyle, She might be in it.

Well I wouldn't want to have Riddler teaming up with Two-Face. (No Batman Forever repeats, lol). It'd be sort of a Batman vs Riddler vs Two-Face vs Mafia guys thing. Kind of like, Two-Face wants to take over the mafia guys and Riddler's got his own agenda and is getting in the way. Meanwhile, Batman is trying to sort out his life and is torn between the two views, his "arrest and don't kill" or Dent's "let's just get the bastards" kind of thing. Edging him between the two would be Selina. I'd assume she'd have about as much time in the movie as Rachel did in the first one, where she isn't like a main character but she serves a purpose. If Grayson was thrown in, it would be too much to juggle, I think, but I'd like to see a GOOD representation of him, since he's one of DC's shining stars. If they did put Riddler in, they've got to cast Edward Norton. He'd be PERFECT in my opinion.

TRUE SO TRUE, Besides all we are doing is speculating on who Two-Face teams with after The Dark Knight. I do have my favorites though.

Isn't the third film gonna involve the trial of the joker?

I would rather have Two Face and I would be fine with that.

well i heard that joker is gonna scar harvey in the dark knight at some point.

The third film involves Harvey Dent as Two-Face.

and the joker on trial

From what Goyer said, I believe, in the sequel to TDK, Joker will scar Harvey at the trial (perhaps using the legendary acid spraying flower!!!)... and I think they're meant to be sticking to that, despite Goyer leaving. 😄
