I wonder when the wedding will really be....

you know you're obsessed when you're watching a diff johnny's movie, all you can think of is "How come I haven't watched this! JOHnnY is sooo hot! I can't focus on the movie! Johnny is sooo hoootttttt! GAH! I remember JACK! I want to watch POTC again... Oh! GAH!!!!! THE HEADLESS HORSEMAN IS COMING! RUN JOHNNY! DON'T JUST SIT THERE! *gasp* DID YOU JUST STAb JOHNNY! NOOOO! DUDE!!!!!!!! I'M GONNA KILL YOU! YOU Didn't just! *phew* he lives. TAKE OFF THE SHIRT ALREADY! still! he stabbed Johnny! I'll kill you! oh wait, you're already dead.. gah! run! run!!!!!!!! johnny!...."

yeah. was thinking that while watching Sleepy Hollow yesterday.. *sigh* soooo... hot...

lol i felt the exact same way when i saw Chocolat the other day!!!!!

...when you actually thought that Jack was the only one that said "love" so when someone else says it, you are shocked

whenever someone says "love", i just smile :-)

I know....I've been watching Blow lately and Sleepy Hollow and I'll be there watching the movie and go "dang he is so fricking gorgeous" ...the entire movie I am so focused on JOhnny and how amazing he looks I can hardly concentrate on the movie itself....

The dude in Chocolat who refused to let johnny buy something for that little girl??? I wanted to hit him so hard.

Sleepy hollow is amzing...I read the story before I watched the movie so I was shocked at how HOT Ichy could be. How can one faint so constantly and still look so damn manly? GAH!

^^^^i KNOW...I love when he faints and all his great facial expressions in Sleepy Hollow....

It's so weird how you can be watching a Johnny movie, and something he says or does reminds me of Jack....it can be a facial expression, or a jesture, or a word......and I'll be like "OMG, that was such a Jack Sparrow moment"...even though these movies were before Jack Sparrow even exhisted....

I know...(the part where he tries to opperate on the corpse is brilliant!! )I'm reminded of Jack a lot while watching other johnny films.Like 'savvy' in OUTIM or the captain Jack turn in finding neverland or all the funny frowns in sleepy hollow!

Jack is something entirely different but is seasoned perefectly with some of Johnny's other characters.

I can't help it... Ichy crane, Willy Wonka and Ed Wood seem so close together. I mean they're totally different but certain things about them are so alike.

Johnny's performances are so amazing.

And here I am talking about Johnny on a thread where I'm not supposed to...yet again.

I know! I love picking out little snippets of his other characters in various films. When he did CATCF, I saw Jack Sparrow and Edward Scissorhands quite a bit, but I seem to see Jack pop up in many of his roles.

I can't wait to see what he comes up with next - Barnabas Collins will be amazing.

Definitely...it's like the role was waiting for him to play it.

and the part where he was looking at the tools.. WHAT A JACK MOMENT! and those various expressions.. totally remind me of JACK!!!!!

Johnny's characters get.. hmm.. 'engraved', i guess, in his personality and every piece of it gets mixed up in his various roles!!!

Yeah, I can see crossovers in almost every role. Each character seems to be like a small faucet of his personality, just intensified to make the character unike, so thats why he might have character crossovers.

As far as the accent/voice goes, it just takes a *lot* of practice and usually some cds/audio cassettes and a dialect coach. You can check your local library and search for accents, they usually have something 🙂

You know you're obsessed when you search for a french-creole accent tape at the library to mimic Tia Dalma

You know you're obsessed when you want to watch it again and again and again and again!

You're obsessed... when you buy two johnny depp vcds and tried to watch them both in one day but you didn't because you fell asleep after the first one and you 'swapped' them for a day with the POTC vcds with a friend.... >.<

Hmmm - I hope this thread doesn't die out! I need a place to vent my obsession with johnny/pirates! Maybe some new ideas will help:

You know you're obsessed when....
1. You get into trouble, you blame it on somebody else and exclaim "I was nothing more than an almost-innocent bystander!"...in Jack's voice

2. You've danced around a campfire or bonfire singing the Pirate Song...

3. You tackle somebody if they talk when you're watching the movie

4. You play pirate-themed board games

5. You've considered/ have buying/bought a new phone package and changing service providers just to get the Pirate theme cell phone.

i won't let this die lol.. this is one of those fun threads, and sometimes its a nice break from sparrabeth obsessions and awe disappointments lol....

... when you have bought dice to play the 'Liar's Dice' game....

this thread cant die! it's too much fun!

..when you are watching pirates and someone comes in and starts talking to you really loud and you yell at them "Shut up! Johnny is talking!"
