A few of my friends and I filmed our own (spoofish) version of COTBP, and I almost filmed a mini-commerical of Pyrex of the Caribbean to go before the film - too bad I didn't 🙁

Ah, the spoof wasn't that good. It was four girls (and my Dad as gibbs) and we turned COTBP into a 30 min film - the mississippi river was our ocean -lol. I've got a pic on my LJ - its titled "Silly" if you want to check out the costumes 😛

I'd buy!! (or rather it would be a lovely present from my mom at Christmas) and I don't even cook that much (if I can help it). I have scrolled through every tee-shirt, bandana, flag, sticker, Pirate jewelery for pete's sake that I can locate on the internet...yuck. There are some funny things out there. So baked goods--take it easy on the baked goods darlin'--kinda a tie in for low fat sorta stuff.

I saw potc ice poles in Sainsbury's that had been reduced from £2.99 to 99p and I figure that was because they forgot to put Will on the box. It wasn't as hot with just Elizabeth and Jack.

the POTC toothpastes must be apple flavoured.. and potc sodas, rum flavored... the essence of rum*perfume*.. root rum... get it? root beer=root rum? meh, that sucked lol.

you know you're obsessed when you think of new marketing techniques for POTC merchandise... and if you think about POTC merchandise that must be sold... 😛

Okay, you know you're obsessed when you think PotC needs your help in marketing 😆 😆 anything. For pete's sake, rum flavored toothpaste, I'm so sure Disney is gonna hire us all for that department. Dadblame, I'm still laughing, must be tired...are we really that funny? Well you are Ja eh, I'm just here for the goof.

Yeah, we thought our little movie was great when we did it, but now...wow. Jack had his infamous crown from the neighborhood burger king, we had a wooden stand-in sword at one point, the Black Pearl was either a photograph or my playgym - lol. The costumes and makeup were pretty good though - my mom used to be a professional makeup artist/photographer, so she did the makeup and camera work. If you'd like, I could post a few pics from the film here 😉

Jack Sparrow Rum Cake - wouldn't that be an awesome product? Even POTC rumcake, they could have different flavors! Calypso Butter-Rum, Apple, Vanilla (for Lizzie?) etc...

crabs you know, need butter for dipping--or not. For will, we could have some kind of smoky bbQ sauce or Davy Jones fish dipping sauce. Definitely cologne for Jack--and hats lots of hats--you know that reference to long pulled pork in DMC is for cannibalism. Definitely turkey jerky for cutler beckett (you are what you eat)

You know you're obsessed when it's the only thing getting you through the first day back at school.

You know you're obsessed when you make a spoof of COTBP, then post pics of the costumes on the "You Know You're Obsessed When..." forum. You also know you're obsessed when you watch said film in retrospect and realize you made it Sparrabeth subconsiously (seriously, when I made this it was pre-DMC, I didn't even know what shipping was!)

Keep in mind that the cast consisted of five girls (me, Maria, Anabelle, Lisa and Teresa) and my dear ol' dad -lol. Maria and I were about 13-14 when we made this 😛
