Damien stood from his seat.
" I told you to rest.." He turned to leave the room, pausing briefly at a random door painted black with a large brass door knob.
" I won't be far." He placed his white hand on the knob and turned it, pulling the door opened then disappearing behind it.

*She closes her eyes, sighing some, as she drifts off into a sleep, being exausted*

Damien heaved himself up each individual step, the sound of his hard boots echoing off the narrow hallway, making the sound as if someone was following him. He finally came to a stop on a flat form ruffly 10 by 10. the wall were cover by dark drapery and gold trims. In one corner the floor was covered with pillows and blankets. The rest of the room was rather blank and boring.

*Champion screams loudly from her room, she is thrashing around, screaming somthing loudly, somthing about damien.... asking, begging him for help, she is covered in sweat, and the room is empty other than her, as she screams*

Damien heard the cries, immediately he reacted by puling a hatch door open from the ground and jumping down to the bedroom below.
See that she was in no danger he leaned back against the wall...

*she cries out, thrashing, as if in panic. She suddenly wakes wide eyed, covered in sweat, and panting, looking around fearfully*

<<for lack of anything better to write at the moment...>>

Vincent leans back in the chair, knowing that Damien will eventually be back in his study. The two had much to discuss, and Vincent planned to see to it that he was heard out...

Damien glanced at Champion. "You're stressed, go back to sleep" He waited until she closed her eyes before he left to his study

*champion nods, and lays back down, falling asleep agian*

Vincent leans back in the chair, his feet up on the desk, as he stares out the window, its crimson curtains on either side of it. A flash of lightning ignites the outdoor sky, illuminating the room around him. He smirks. Damien is near, and Vincent knows it is time.

Damien opened the office door and glanced around the room, the slight figure of Vincent was visible against the dusk.
" I somehow knew you'd be here"

Vincent smirks, though it is unseen, hidden by his hair. He slowly walks to the window, keeping his back to Damien as he watches the crows and ravens in the courtyard below.
"Wonderful creatures, those birds. Crows and ravens are creatures of the night in myth and lore... Held highly as carriers of lost and wayward souls. So divine. So... presumptiously unaware of the deeper meaning of life in and of itself. As a part and a whole."
He turns, his bright amber eyes resting on Damien.
"Much like you, Master. Unaware of what goes on even beneath your own nose."
He notices a slight twitch of anger at these words.
"I'll cut to the chase. Champion is not going to be mentally stable enough to weather this entire stay. I can tell that with each and every encounter with Lucifer, she grows more and more distraught, losing more of her sanity with every passing second that she has to fear another attempt on her life. There are, of course, multiple solutions, all leading back to you. You must decide soon, or she won't live this stay out. You're going to have to do something about Lucifer, whether it be sending him back into the eternal reaches of Hell, setting someone to watch his every move... Or... you can do something about the girl. I've always been loyal to the family, Damien. Do not misinterpret this as turning you against your own plan. But you must either put someone on a silent watch over her... or you need to get someone with a stronger willpower."
Vincent strolls nonchalantly toward the door, stopping in its facing and turning slightly toward Damien.
"I'll give you a bit to think it over. You know how to summon me if necessary."
He disappears into a whisp of smoke, leaving Damien to his thoughts.

<<hehehe... plot twist!>>

Damien stood for a moment in silence then abruptly slammed his fist down on the desk in front of him.
He knew the words just said to him were true but he was holding him own secrets back. He truthful had no power over Lucifer, that was his father's area, yet he made everyone believe he was almighty. Not only did he hold that deep but the fact he was dependent on blood, so much that he had victim hanging from his dungeon ceiling and he still hadn't told anyone why he had picked Champion specifically!

*once Damien leaves the room, she sits up, smirking* Though no one has told me, I know everyone here thinks I cant take it, that I am unable to stand all this stress. Well, lets prove them wrong. *She looks down to her hands, thinking of Lucifer and how he enjoys her fear* I will not show him fear again. I dont care how scared I really am. I will have to ask Damien about how to defend myself against Lucifer specificly. *her voice is soft, obviously she is thinking out loud. She stands, and tries to use her hands, only to Yelp in pain, she sits on the edge of the bed, incase Damien heard her yelp. She silently wonders why Damien choose her. She thinks back to all the times he saved her, then She realizes somthing "He never touched Lucifer....... I wonder why" she says just as soft as before.* I hope these hands heal before his father comes

Damien calmed himself by watching the ravens out the window. Vincent was right about the raven being an ease to watch. When he felt well enough to face Champion again he left the office returning to his room.

Damien.... Why did you choose me? *Looks up at him, her eyes showing a hint of what she has desided. She hopes he doesnt notice, wondering if he already knew. She has wondered why he choose her in the first place, since he took her*

" cuz i needed someone to pretend to be my fiance"

Why did you choose ME over anyone else?

" No reason.." He turned away from her and sat down in his black armchair.
" you feeling better"

*she nods some, watching him* how soon will your father be here
