Lucifer hides in the shadows of the cellars beneath the castle, watching through the eyes of time as the two make their plans for the evening. "A trip from the castle walls? Perfect..."
Adrin smiles again. "Fun, you say? Okay. I can do fun..." She takes Champ's arm again, fading into the darkness and reappearing just outside of a rather large club. "Let's have some fun."
Adrin nods. "No problem. Just... watch who you associate with." She leads the way to the door, the doorman letting them in almost automatically. "He owes me. I got his mom through cancer. What he doesn't know is that I also killed his cat to do it." Adrin laughs, realizing how fun it is to be a Death.
she smiles, folliowing Adrin (Wow.... I have heard of killer friends.... but not this) She smiles, sitting down across from her, like a friend would "Any chance that guy over there who keeps looking at me, the one with all the tattoos and piercings, who makes Damien's workers seem normal. ANy chance he will Die anytime soon?"
Adrin looks the guy over, then picks up a menu, tossing one to Champ. "Before we leave. Probably the next five minutes." Instantaneously the man falls down, choking on his own blood, a knife protruding from his back. "He owed someone money for a long time. Drug dealer." She smirks, then lowers her menu. "So tell me... how did you get pulled into this ordeal with Damien?"
She takes the menu, smiling, listening to her, smirking as the guy dies. She smirks, looking at her. She suddenly blinks, looking kinda surprised to hear the question, she looks at the menu "I dont really know... He hasnt told me. I just know I was kidnaped..... And Im trying not to show as much fear."
Adrin shakes her head. "Quite a common misconception. We Deaths do not, actually, read anyone's thoughts. We can read their life patterns. When we find someone near death, the reason for that death becomes apparent to us, and we can give them a new chance at life, or leave them to die." She smiles a bit. "My turn. Did you leave any family behind when you came to the castle?"
Adrin nods. "Then we'll have to see to it Damien is ready to let you get home before they get back, won't we?" She stands and walks to the stage center of the club. "Excuse me a second, Champ." Stopping center stage, she picks up the microphone and turns it on. "Mike Havarti, you should head home immediately, your wife is fallen ill." She replaces the mic, then returns to the table. "Poor bastard. She's been cheating on him for a month, and now she's about to die from some crazy STD... Oh well."
