Adrin nods, noticing Damien entering her room. "Alright, gonna grab yeh some snackage and I'll be right back!" Adrin shook her head. "No, actually this was for Champion. She said she'd be needing some food and a drink, and so I left her to speak with Damien while I came to fetch her a snack... Holy crap, I'm a maid..."
Vincent raised an eyebrow then shook his head, dismissing it entirely. "I ran your little idea by Damien. He hasn't told me his decision as of yet, but he is contemplating it. I think you may be assigned to watch over her a bit more often... Like a personal bodyguard or something..."
Adrin nodded. "Yeah, because Lucifer is SO scared of me... Ah well, she does run a lower risk of being attacked if she's not alone. I'll handle it, assuming Damien's cool with it."
Vincent narrowed his eyes at her. "And if he doesn't?"
Adrin sat down, wondering what the devil would happen to Champ if she stayed here much longer. "Then I'll watch over her anyway. Damien may be in charge, Vincent, but there are some things more important than taking orders."
Vincent smirked a bit, wondering how well Damien would have taken it had he been here for this. "You've come quite a long way, dear sister. There was a time once when you were not so very different from Lucifer. Of course, I doubt you'd want rumours such as those floating around nowadays, am I correct?"
Adrin looked up suddenly. "And what the devil is that supposed to mean, Vincent? Are you threatening me? Because we've proved time and again that I can take your ass in a fight."
Vincent shook his head. "You misinterpret. I simply meant to say that should you cross Damien, he might go as far as to tell Champion, and she may be fearful of you. You should be free to do as you please, I agree, however, as long as we reside under his castle's portection, or as Deaths, then we MUST be swayed to follow his orders. Am I understood?" He raised an eyebrow, a subtle hint to her that he would cover for her, should she decide to take up arms to watch over Champion.
Adrin barely caught it, but the hint that he would watch over her and cover her actions was enough for her to decide then and there that she would have to at least try to make this work.

Champion smiles some, glad she isnt alone "why am I alone so much?" She says, laying down, looking over at him, her face pale from blood loss. her eyes show curiousity, and and worry
She looks up at him "that only explains why YOU arent here, not why I am alone all the time." She ignores the pain in her hand, the fact she fights not to pant from the loss of blood, her eyes are half closed, proving how much blood she lost, yet she found enough energy to deal with the number one advantage lucifer has over her, she is alone too often

Lucifer paced back and forth throughout the dungeons, steaming with hatred for the others. How he longed to have his old master back, to no longer take orders from this puny whelp and his dog-like servants, all stuck to his every word. He knew the only way to perform this task was to kill the girl... but how to do so without alerting suspicion to himself again? How to kill her? And then, inspiration struck. "Adrin..."
