Best Dogs?

Since when is protection the Be-all, End-all criteria for deciding what is the "best dog?"

If that's the case, get a freakin' Siberian Tiger and lock yourself in a closet if you're too scared to breathe without the protection of an animal.

Ironically, I'm righting a term paper on dog attacks and humans being able to defeat a dogs attack right now..

If you want protection, go for an Irish Wolfhound. They're one of the few dogs who were bred specifically for attacking human beings, and are insanely loyal. Not to mention they're incredibly good around children, and aren't particularly known for their aggression.
