Thanos lost to someone weaker than Captain America.

im not here u foolish idiots to talk about thanos clones or darkseid avatars. once they say that i drop it. its a bit of a copout on both parts but there are crappy writers who make some unbeleivable things happen in comics. so im not counting darkseid losing to doomsday becuz it was retconned. although we all know betteron that one. definitley could have happened.

And it seems that Supes putting Darkseid to the Source wall may not be canon. 😉 It seems the entire thing up to S/B #25 was being orchestrated by a game played by Mxy and Joker, who was holding onto Bat-mite's power at the time. Thus, the entire arc is suspect and cannot be trusted as far as SMvsFL type feats are concerned.
