i'm not a writer. i'm an observer to the comics and unlike you, i see the flaw in logic. superman isn't capable of defeating darkseid by himself. the writer overexaggerated superman's powers and character while decreasing darkseid's.
thanos wins this they are close together. but thanos edges him out in every category. hes a better one on one fighter, thinker, and accomplisher. when he wins fights he actually fights. when darkseid wins a fight its due to hand wave or a mind control, right. but when darkseid starts throwing punches he loses. hes not a good fighter. hes a good hand waver.

great point brought up by quan though, how can you say a writer who is MAKING THE COMIC is wrong, he's the one creating and telling a story about a fictional character, just because he doesn't write the comic the way you want him too does not mean when you interpret it you can discount what he writes because you think he didn't portray the character the way you saw fit, that is the beauty of fiction so you are truly making yourself look bad by saying the WRITER OF THE COMIC is bullshit
