But there are so many trees, by the time we're at the last tree, more than half of the others will have grown back.
As much as I like you, I refuse to debate agains such insane logic as this.

You actually think that a website who's mission statement is"
to promote and support the use of high quality, environmentally sound, decorative wood products manufactured in North America," is not at all biased?

Yeah, that's from poor people using the trees to house their families and friends.
Holy sh*t dude? Are you serious? It's because of clear cut logging for lumber, increasing farm land and strip mining. (but mostly the lumber for export) Poor people can't afford major heavy machinery to cut down 100 foot tall trees.

Propoganda? Well, that's debatable, but you must have heard this from someone else, because I've heard it many times.
I've heard it from both people who planted trees through University and my brother-in-law who works for the ministry of the envirnoment in Alberta.

Trees might be lost in Canada, but that's not the end of the world.
First I'll say that that is a ridiculously ignorant comment. Second, Trees are being cut down at an alarming rate world wide. Great Britain used to be a forrested island over 1000 years ago...why have all those trees not grown back?

Incase you think it's so horrible for the environment.
Logging and proper forrestry practises are not bad for the environment. Industrial clearcutting and forrest, slash and burn clearing and forrest mismanagement is bad for the environment.
