Apple Pie

Apple Pie

So I was eating a nice, big apple pie last night (Reduced to 64p in Sainsbury's(Is niiiiice!)) and I got to thinking: "Is apple pie really American like those yank-types claim?".

A quick search on the web reveals that APPLE PIE IS NOT AMERICAN after all. But, my search didn't tell me where apple pie actually originated (There were suggestions of France, Germany, the Netherlands and Britain). This is where you people come in: Help me find out where the apple pie originated.

Please?

I found it in one search. Lazy. nahuh

ApplePie is American. No matter where it originated from ApplePie is an American thing.

Have you looked at Bloigen's link? Apple pies were being made in England AT LEAST 111 YEARS BEFORE COLUMBUS DISCOVERED AMERICA , and it's safe to say the native Americans weren't making them beforehand because THEY DIDN'T HAVE APPLES .

Thanks Bloigen 🙂

I had never had apple pie until I went to Canada in December.

I was unimpressed.

Bah I say. Bah.

ApplePies are American. Facts only mean so much.

England is part of America and they still can't make ApplePies anywhere near as good as ours.

You're stating something completely irrelevant. He never argued that it wasn't originated in england. He said he didn't care for the origin of Apple Pie.

Of course, Symmetric argued your point anyways ...

Apple Pie is good. ✅

Meatballs are Swedish.
