Inter-team Tournament

not to just come in here and agree with digi and scoob, but I agree with them 100%

the categories (brick, EP, ect) are kinda lame imho. We should be able to pick 4 people that are within the limits regardless of their powerset.

A post cap is good too, because the threads will get flooded by nonsense, especially if multiple members for a team are all trying to post at once. If a "post captain" (someone who has to post for all team members) was put in, or a limit to posts, I'd be in favor.

Any ideas about the draft yet?

Bricks are easy- Things, Warpath, Mortal Hercules, Strong Guy, Wonder Girl, Namor , grey hulk, Atlas, Hawkman, I can go on and on

and Tps- Miss Martian, Jean Grey Minus phoenix powers, Gorilla Grodd, Aquaman minus his water, Monet, Emma Frost, Exodus ,Rachel Grey, Psylocke.

tech guys - Cyborg, Mr. Fantastic, Ironman, Warmachine, Goliath, Yellow Jacket ( past versions of the same characters are allowed to be drafted) Gizmo. lex Luthor in his battle suit , , Steel etc etc

versatality - Ms Marvel, Dr Light, Ray, Human Torch, Polaris, Redstar, Indigo,Classic Ice man, Metamorpho

those are plenty of people you could draft

I dont think post captain would work. None of the other members would get to do anything. The team just needs to work together well and post when they need to post 😬

Metamorpho = should be banned. You should really have a "killabillity limit", which is slightly different than a durability limits.

Also, categories are fine. I'm not saying there aren't picks....just that a lot of the best ones are in the versatile department, so it's frustrating for someone who does their homework, has about 3-4 great picks that no one else is seriously considering, but 2-3 of them are in the "versatile" category.

It's not a bad idea...just not my cup of tea. That's all. But I'm not even entering, so it's not a huge deal.

None taken. If my griping helps make it better, then it'll be better for KMC. So hopefully my devil's advocate role pays off a bit.

I'm for a limit of abilities rather than having to pick 4 characters that fit specific roles. I think we should simply have a cap of what a drafted character's limits should be, not pick a brick, a jack of all trades, a psi, etc. You should have free reign to build your team.

I agree.

Again, it allows for more creativity. I think categories are better suited for tourneys that get into the higher power levels- herald, cosmic, etc.

Ironman level? We should be allowed to have the freedom of creativity

Yeah, catagories are fine for herald level games due to the insane power levels but for this type of game there's no need for it.

And limiting people to 12 posts? why even bother? who needs 12 posts to make their point? especially when they have 3 other team members making the points at the same time.

Actually I do agree with most people the Categories are rather useless and do seem hamper instead of help.

Honestly with a 3-4 to four day match with 4 people on each team giving everyone three - 4 posts would probably be better.
