It was the WORST thing they did in CW , it made no sense , was completely OOC and was generally the equivalent of pissing on the mans grave.
Now I do disagree with Cap. Marvel getting his own series, but I thought the initial return was pretty cool.
remember in the Infinity Gauntlet Arc when earth hero's were fighting Thanos?
One of my favorite moments is when Thanos telepoted Thor's mjinor away, and thor reverted back to Eric Masterson. Some how Eric Masterson got a hold of the Mjinor.. and him and Spidey stated to whip Thanos's ass for a little bit...
It seemed like not a great moment but the narration was sweet, and gave me a sense of hope for a while.

I thought it was a cool moment, when Cap. Marv came back and saw the Earth and it's heroes going to shit.
After that one moment, the comic itself wasn't very good.
Like every one else, these are in no real order...
1. Omni-Man killing the Immortal in front of his son and then trying to talk with him.
2. Spider-Man unmasking himself in public.
3. Superman’s death after killing Doomsday.
4. Bigby Wolf and Snow White’s reunion after five or so years of being apart.
5. Thing’s refusal to give up after being beaten to within an inch of his life by the Champion.
6. Flash defeating Zoom, which then results in the birth of his twin children.
7. Tony Stark confronting his alcoholism.
8. Daredevil declaring himself the new Kingpin after defeating Wilson Fisk.
9. The death of Bruce Banner’s wife caused from gamma radiation poisoning.
10. Green Arrow intentionally killing a man to save Black Canary’s life, beginning his killing spree over all sorts of criminals.
There are waaaaay too many...so I'll pick some random ones...
* Bane Breaks Batman's spine in Knightfall.
* Death of Superman.
* Orion's battle with Kalibak the Cruel in The New Gods.
* Joker brutally beating Jason Todd.
* The death of Norman Osborne.
* Magneto using bending Wolverine's adamentium skeleton.
* The Spectre and Anti-Monitor come to a stalemate in the Crisis.
* Spawn removes his mask for the first time.
* Joker Shoots Barbara.
* Captain Marvel fights Superman.
