sad fact of the matter comes down to this. Maguire-Depp?
topher-Bloom?
Knightly-dunst?
Movie studios are not stupid. Do you think bruckhiemer in all of his evil wretchedness would debut his movie against spiderman if he diddnt think the devil told him that his cast would stir more of a draw than spidermans?
the devil always gets paid. Pirates will reign supreme in the summer of 07 Heros will always fall
You're right the cast is eons beyond that of Spider-Man but movies based on comic books are popular right now so who knows. I want to see them both but I want to see SM 3 more. I don't understand why this is in the Spider-Man forum it obvious that most people who spend time here will vote for Spider-Man 3 and not POTC 3.
Obviously Pirates have a better cast (except for that terrible horrific bad actress Knightly) but I also think people are kinda tired of Pirates now, while Spider-man hasn't been seen at the cinema for quite some time. Thus I think Spidey will draw more people, however I am going to go and see both ofc.
Venom (The villain EVERYONE has been waiting to see) will be a cameo, and Pirates has gone the route of the matrix. The first one was a hit, so they rush 2 sequels that they film back to back making the sequels tie in. in a useless conglomeration of weak plot and familiar dialogue. Truth be told, neither movie deserves the #1 spot. **** it, Maybe Gigli 2 will back door everyone for the #1 spot.

Dude use some logic and common sense. This is the spider-man section.Of course everybody is going to put in their votes for the Man-Spider movies. 🙄 you could have at least put a thread in the Pirates section as well to see how the results would compare there.sheesh.
I did put it in the POTC thread. In fact i put it there before i threw it on here. And that still didn't work cause you had POTC bias there. So I just went ahead and threw it in the "Movies Discussion" thread.
So there are three of same thread out there. And they're doing farely well. Last time i looked, earlier today, the poll in the "Movies Discussion" thread was tied at 13 to 13.
