need help with copying pics..thanks

hello, i was wondering if someone could help me with a very simple issue. I have just recently purchased a macbook. My entire computer history has been with microsoft. I am trying to find out how to simply copy a picture from a given website to a saved documet on my mac. On a Pc it was as simple as left clicking on the image and choosing save to document. Seeing how i cannot left click on my laptop i am at a loss. Whenever i have a specific pic that i want copied and saved i choose save as from the file menu, but it ends up saving the entire webpage. Any tips on how i can save on the picture? thanks

Go to desktop, I think ... click Finder? Find the find the folder, open it, etc..

Click on the image in your internet browser and (while still clicking down) move the cursor to the folder..

But I'm on a PC and only use MACs at school, so srug.
