Oh I haven't read Oath either, but I've heard good things about it. I was refering to his past series. Its tempered with some serious feats (like going baack in time to save Wong's wife) and lower end feats like him not getting out spells in time against fast opponents

I think bendis has stated that he is to continue up holding a Strange with some limitations and weaknesses. I do believe it was JMS who wrote the last mini, although i heard it wasn't that good. You seem like an intelligent guy, is there anyway you maybe able to help me with the conunderum i have set up in another thread.

His limits are bullshit more often than not.
Unshielded, he's taken shots that would have made Wolverine see stars - he's not taken out by a blow to the head.
And he's casted non-verbal spells PLENTY of times in the past. Covering his mouth would only get him to whip out his (also underrated) martial art skill, break your arm, and then turn you into a hamster.

He's taken shots cause of the cloak. Without it his durabilty isn't as great.
And for the noverbal spells he has to focus to do those, speaking doesn't allow him to cast the spells, just makes it easier. Getting him disoriented and covering his mouth stops him.

I guess sitting in a super nova and manipulating, and stopping the energies isn't nearly as distracting as getting a hand placed over your mouth.
I suppose getting a hand placed over your mouth is more disorienting than holding the entire Earth together, and still surviving arrows from the Deathurge.
I guess Strange just can't stay cool under pressure, like when Elektra had a sai at his throat, and he nonchalantly turned it into a bread-stick.
Because someone placing their hand over your mouth is more dampening than having the Silver-****ing-Surfer barrelling down at your ass faster than the speed of sound.
Getting hit on the head must be too much for the person that's survived attacks from the Juggernaut and the Hulk unshielded. Or for the person that's taken shots that knocked the Surfer out.
I guess it takes more effort to cast a non-verbal spell to take out a single attacker than it does to encapture the friggin UNI-POWER. Because, he does that without a word, and nary a gesture.
It's not like Doc strange could just...you know, astrally project when knocked out, as he's done on countless occasions, including when he SHOT HIMSELF.
It's not as if Doc Strange has been called the most powerful Humanoid in existence. Nor was it ever said that his power was upsetting the multiverse. By none other than Eternity...
Clearly, ripping apart and rebuilding the moon isn't a very impressive feat. Nor is collapsing dimensions. Nor is reversing time on a micro or macro scale just for the hell of it, with nary a gesture.
I mean, someone who has been shown creating life itself could EASILY get taken out by a thug's backhand.
Creating a black hole, punking the Surfer mentally (something even Moondragon couldn't do), transmuting ANYTHING to...well..ANYTHING. Making people vanish from existence. Disintegrating the absorbing man (when even ODIN had to BFR him). Rebuilding and repairing every planet in the entire universe. Wiping the minds of every human on the planet. Mind****ing an entire dimension of demons. The guy that has taken over dimensions, and absorbed all the magic out of a planet. The guy that has had himself decapitated and suffered no ill effects.
Yes..the guy that has been described as universe-shaking mutliverse-upsetting...
