Nikkolas you got to be joking because darkseid beat dc Ares with ease and he is Odin level. In dc Ares is one of about 5 people to escape from the source wall under his own power. He killed Highfather who is a member of dc cosmic/mystic power the quintessesce. He possessed the godwave and he is the god of death,war, and master of conflict and darkseid defeated him with ease. It took the combine forces of odin,zeus,jove,Ares, and highfather to stop darkseid after he killed almost all the other gods in dc. and another thing no offfense to thanos he is one of my favorite character but he is just equal to a drakseid avatar. and dc re-canoned all superman win against darkseid it was made clear that superman did not defeat darkseid they were just avatars
and none of the heroes above can survive DS Omega effect so this fight will end in about 20 sec if they are lucky

many years ago Thanos conducted extensive research on genetics, and after studying many of the universe's heroes and villains cloned them and gene-spliced his own DNA into the subjects. Thanos later abandons the project, unaware that five clones survive, being versions of Professor X, Iron Man, Gladiator, Dr. Strange and Galactus respectively. A sixth and unnamed version of Thanos also appears, and it is revealed that many of Thanos' recent encounters with Earth's superheroes (eg. Silver Surfer, Spider-Man, Ka-Zar and Thor) were simply clones impersonating him.

His retcons to it are troublesome to argue because those for him will pick a loss and those against him will state it was an avatar. The arcs with Thanos specifically state the clones.

Hell... he actually adresses his clones, and actually shows his real self...Darkseid's are speculated upon...
