Wait, won't the electricity from the ground that was hit surge underground and hit your power box and force an overload that will cause all the outlets in your house to explode?

i didn't know it was storming this bad till it hit the front lawn cryoh

I suggest getting off the computer. My little brother was on once during a storm, and lightning stuck. The power went out, and the computer actually shocked him.

Lightning once struck a tree in my backyard, split a part of it in half and the tree died about 4 months later. When it hit it was so loud and bright. Was pretty sweet though.

I was at a bank one time during a thunderstorm, and lighting struck somewhere close outside and all the computer monitors the building exploded, and little bolts shot out of the outlets...

It was pretty sweet, but it made me never want to be on the computer, phone, or watching TV when a storm is happening.
