with hindsight, of course it seemed that way... but in the middle of that much devastation, he was probably just desperate to cope somehow...

What does he mean by I know where to look, could this be how it ties into the Messiah Complex? Could it possibly be that the newborn Mutant child be from the Summers/Grey bloodline? Everyone raves about how ti has so much mutant potential ✅

Didn't they find that that the genes everywhere were destroyed. Why the ones in buried people be spared.

(Not much of a spoiler but just incase.)

Both males in that family are dead.

Could he meant Mr. Fantastic and the Invisible woman? Even by gaining their powers they are still normal humans. Thir son Franklin is a mutant and I believe Valeria is one as well, could be wrong about her.

The Guthrie father I believe is dead but the mothe is a good source having produce like 20 Guthrie kids.
