No he didn't, Box was never knocked out he even stated that. He also saw Iron Man coming at him miles away, but didn't react as he didn't know he was evil and didn't know they were in Dreamqueen's realm. Iron Man and the Avengers told Box to surrender and being confused as to what was going on he surrendered as stated in the comic, but he was never defeated not even close.

Yeah only the past 2 years have I gotten into them, I thought they were a joke and started to actually read their stories and found out they were badasses...even Guardian defeated a weakened Galactus with one shot.
Nice to see someone else on this board has hands on AF knowledge.

I started reading AF when I was a kid...I picked up issue #23 (vol. 1) when it was fresh off the presses, and immediately got hooked...I had a pretty decent collection (starting with AF #1) until I got married and the ex made me get rid of them...

I'm not sure he could do that while IN the Box armor, though...he might be able to absorb the metal of Iron Man's armor, but I don't think he can control "foreign" metal while in the armor. He'd have to phase out, which would make him vulnerable, if only for a second or two.

Normally no he can't, but he has shown numerous times later on in the series and in Weapon X when he was brainwashed he could.
