Although Atom could technically make a universe....just a very, very, very small one....

I dont see how Atom could bring down Iceman even current one..

Maybe. But Iceman can't bring Atom down either. He can shrink to the size of a theortical "string".

I doubt "cold" would even work on him.

Especially since he can fly in space without a spacesuit (if he's shrinked sufficently)

Deconstruct every water molecule he sees. Or split the atom therefore causing an atomic explosion (he only did this once in an emergency...though I'm not sure that's how an atomic explosion works....)

He retains the same mass he has at normal size when he shrinks down to any size.

So he still hits whatever he hits with the force of a 200 lbs. man even if he's the size of an electron.

He also has some gadgets like laser guns and what not. And he has the ability to shrink down anything inorganic (he can shrink down organic stuff but they're gonna explode horrifically after about 20 minutes) to whatever size he wishes.

So if he destroys EVERY water molecule on Earth, he wins!

Actually Atom doesn't age when he shrinks. He remarked if he DID age while he was shrunken, he would become a corpse in less than ten seconds because apparently small things don't live long.

And what's to say Iceman won't turn back to human form?

Atom can shrink to a size in which he can literally surf light wave radiation like a snowboard.

So freezing wouldn't likely work since he's just freezing the water molecules so that they either stop or move very slowly.

And the Atom can shrink down farther than a molecule. Or atom. Or electron. Or even a "string".

And I don't think absolute zero would work on him if he was sufficently shrunken.
