I'm still for Sparrabeth..and my faith is even stronger after the trailer...it was smoking....yea, Will and liz kissed..but you know what...I barely noticed it....all i could focus on was the lines between jack and liz..."it would never have worked between us"..."keep telling youself that, darling"...OMG...did anyone else notice how sexy Jack looked and sounded when he said that...he practically seduced her with that voice and that look right there in front of everybody....and the way he was leaning so non-chalantly against the rail....OMG that was the hottest Jack's ever looked......I am freaked out!!!! I am so in love with Sparrabeth.....

I think we'll all be happy no matter how it turns out. We have a third movie, everyone! Do you know how many more clips that is for videos? I'm psyched even if it will be a W/E ending because T&T would know how to make that work, just like they would know how to make a J/E ending work.

interesting question. i think i need to watch DMC again, i just dont have it with me here.

my ship has always been sparrabeth, but at the same time, i've always acknowledged the likelihood of W/L being the ending that happens, an ending which wouldn't even bother me. (especially seeing the new hott desperation that seems to have entered their relationship). my problem right now is that I have fallen for a man who is more like Will than Jack and I'm understanding all the trauma Liz went through in film 1, waiting for the dumbass to make his move. 😉 this might account for my recent W/L tendencies, though as always I assert the hotness, the beauty, the passion, and the all around BETTERNESS of J/L. if a pirate knocked on my door, i'd beg him to kidnap me. 😉

My personal opinion is that the trailer is very misleading!! At the end of DMC one of the unresolved questions was Where does Liz's heart truely lie? with Will or with Jack? so Why would Disney put a huge Kiss between Will and Liz and him asking her to marry him in the trailer?

I know!!!! cause that is not the surprise! They want us to believe that WILL and Liz are ending up together....but there is something deeper!!! MUCH DEEPER!!! 😄 like LIZ LOVES JACK and Jack Loves Liz!! 😍

If people keep building these expectations of what NEEDS to happen and how characters MUST BE TREATED without regard for the writers who often have different ideas than we do about that, there will be disappointment. Of that, I am certain.

I think there will be people who will absolutely hate it.

Yes, there is a lot of comedy but there is also a lot of tragedy and angst.
