You need to screencap it and paste it into Paint or Photoshop or something.

I actually don't like this thing. It doesn't have the same hairs and sit as the real Mii creator, so I can't create how I actually look.

I had to use Paint to paste into and I haven't used Paint in aaaages, so I don't know if I've done it right ermm

It does on my computer, because I set my internet colors differently. So I see all the white next to my gray background of a blank page. I win! w00t

You have to 'printscreen' and then paste into an editing program, save it and then upload it 🙂
