The big bang is as proven as any scientific theory. It isn't still up in the air.
There are "holes" in it, but I think it is reasonable that humans cannot explain every single happening in 10+ billion years. "holes" just mean "new areas of research"

Evolution is not true because it is not possible. Do I lack the mental capacity to understand evolution, or do I lack the mental capacity to believe in evolution (as an intelligent account for how complex life forms came into being)? The paucity of evidence in support of evolutionary process is indicative of its impossibility (and with all due respect its absurdity).
