Capes suck unless they have a use. Also, his boots are stupid, they're hooker thigh-high boots.

I like the armor, he's always needed armor because his durability is kind of crappy. Maybe it's enchanted armor or something.

As for the new look, it isn't that horrible. He looks kind of baby faced, but other than that I can live with it.
