Christian is more of a lyrical thing though. Some bands, like Stryper, are preachy and others are not. P.O.D., for example, does not really warrant a seperate distinction.

Yeah, "Christian" Music reminds me of stuff that followers of Warren Jeffs listen to.

Any music that makes you go crazy and damage yourself is devil music, or that's what I heard. When most Christians think of Rock the 1st thing that comes to mind is Wood Stock which some times contained violence and rioting or something similar. It's just a strange misconception because in the end it's all music and when actually taking the time to sit and listen to the music it's easy to see that the songs can be about anything, from a good friend to ice cream.

What are people talking about? Most Christians love rock and roll. I listen to all sorts of stuff. Blue Oyster Cult, Cream, Led Zeppelin, you name it. Christians are not ignorant of rock music as a group. A couple of old men don't speak for the majority.

Rock music is the best thing ever. Rather than expressing it yourself and making a *** of yourself, some guy in his mid-20ies is doing it for you to listen, and although you dream about singing it, you never will. Still, listening to it makes you feel better, but then you'll get used to the shit life and rock music after. hmm
