The Gardening thread

With Summer in the northern hemisphere rapidly approaching, I thought we could all discuss gardening in this thread and pass on tips for things like the perfect lawn.

What do others think?

First Topic from me.

My lawnmower has broke and I need to get a new one but just do not know the best one to get. I have had 2 in the last 3 years and both have broke and was not happy with them so would not buy them again. I need one that is not very heavy as I find them hard to monouver but want it to collects grass if possible. I would prefer it not to be a flymo, because I like to see stripes in my lawn 😬 but any suggetions would be helpful. I don't want to pay anymore than £100. Thanks in advance

I just got back from Wal-Mart. I had to buy some grass seed and some soil to fill the holes my dog dug into the yard.
