Really?
My dad told me at dinner. He was talking with my grandmother and my uncle when he went back up to visit, and they said that the doctor took him off his kemo treatment because it wasn't doing much. All they can do now is control the pain of his tumors.
By christmas he might be in a coma and die. π

Originally posted by TRHI thank you for your concern, but I was never really close with my grandfather. We only really talked when we could, such as during the holidays and during birthdays and such.

I started talking to him more when I moved down here, because I took up Trombone. He used to play Trumpet himself, and we would talk for an hour or so about our instruments, music, my band schedule and such.
Now, to hear he's going to die has hit me like a football quarterback hitting you at full velocity.

Hello peers. I have terrible news.My grandfather might die at Christmas. From freaking cancer he's had for 17 months. π
There is not really much one can say when it comes to an already set diagnos. I wish the best for your grandfather and I hope everything will go as smooth as possible (Or something). Sorry to hear and I wish you, your family and grandfather the very best.

I'm terribly sorry Parker...hug
Cancer is a desease that wreaks havoc upon everyone, and it's a god aweful shame. My best friend's father died last year from cancer, my grandfather too passed away from cancer, and my mother gets tested once a month to make sure hers hasn't returned.
I'll keep you and yours in my thoughts, and cross my fingers for the best.
