DD got killed by Radiant thousands of years ago in an energy blast.

DD got killed by Imperiex by an energy blast.

DD didn't evolve past death by energy blasts. He evolved past the level that kills him.

A hulk could do it, if severely enraged from jump street.
Anybody with a dynamic power, that's top tier could kill him.
