I liked Sale's art... but I did not like Loeb's interpretation of the Scarecrow... I mean what is up with making him speak in nursery rhymes? Why do people do this!?! It angers me... the man is a genius... sure he's nuts, but not so much that he can only communicate in Mother Goose!
But on another note... yes, the Long Halloween is one of the best Bats stories I've ever read... not the best of all time, but pretty freaking far up there.

Is it better than hush, Hmmm. Thats a tough call. I can't compare b/c both are in different time era's. Long Halloween is in the early batman days, while hush is more recent in Batman's life. I think both are great, and if I had to choose one, I would say Hush. And its only better by a millimeter. Both fantastic
Im sure opinions would differ though.
