Who were you named after?

My real name is Alana (though pretty much everyone knows that), I wasn't named after anyone as far as I know, though. My siblings are all named after family members, though. All of us have Irish/Celtic names though 😛

I dont think I was named after anyone either..btw: my name is Amanda for those who dont know

I was named after my father.

I was just given the name Derek, no real reason behind it. srug

all i can say is that my mother is a very unique lady. i love my name. everyone remembers it and i always manage to stand out.

everytime i introduce myself to someone they stare and look at me say something along the lines of "wait, are you serious?"
