Tom dropped the girl, another bled dry. Suddenly he heard a heart beat. Calm, unnaturally calm. Either this person was completely wasted, or someone was preparing to kill and said person was coming their way. "quick, jump!" Tom yelled jumping on top of a building. "Why?" Charlie asked stunned. "I'll explain later come on Tom said hopping over to the back of the building. Charlie was in shock and could hardly move. He heard the heartbeat now too but he knew it was too late for him to escape. He wouldn't go down without a fight.

"Men these days" Magic muttered under her breath as she watched the 2 males of her own kind lead a blond out soon followed by another guy who she frowned at. He didn't smell Chiropertan but he didn't smell human either and the fact he was following them unnerved her...Red Shield was her first guess and if she was right then she wondered if she should help the pair. They could easily be caught off guard though she figured two against one wasn't bad odds but 3 against one was better... Plus she had nothing better to do other then watch the group talk at the bar. "Whatever I should hunt again anyways" she muttered as she stood slowly and turned to leave before tossing a few bills on the table. She nodded to a few people she knew before also following the group out the bar making no bother to hide that she was there.

Spike walked to where the girl was on the ground and where Charlie was. He pulled out his weapon and with his unnaturally calmnes aloud him to aim perfecrtly at him. "That wasn't nice of you to do that. This is gunna be fun." He cracked his knuckles and faced Charlie, lit cigarette still in his mouth. Pulling th egun from its holster Spike waited for Charlie to make the first move.

jaina and jacen walked to jacen's place, when they got here jaina changed into a hoody sweater and loose pants "should i order the chinese or something different this time?" jacen asked

Charlie growled and dove at Spike's legs trying to take him out quickly (kill Charlie if you want. He's not even a full-fledged cahracter)

((Sorry my computer lagged up and posted that twice))

Spike watched as Charlie lunged at him and jumped above him. Turning around he pointed the gun at Charlie and stood there watching him. When he saw Charlie was about to move again he fired twice hitting Charlie in the forehead. The bullets brought him to the ground and he died. "You only needed two bullets.. Must have been a weak vampire then." Instead of doing his duty of cleaning up the situation he left both bodies and started to walk away from the scene.

"You *****!" Tom yelled hearing gunshots. He jumped over the building in a rage and punched spike in the nose hard. Then he began running away, tears of blood and anger running down his face.

Spike's head went back for a moment and he sat still in motion. "Oww.." He took off after him but lost him due to his greater speed. He placed another bullet into the clip of his gun and walked back towards the bar. His calm had not even seemed to be interupted.

Tom did not know what to do. He thought about getting something to drink but that damn hunter was there. He knew. He would have to kill spike to avenge his friends death. He had a purpose, a desire...and Tom always got what he wanted.

Spike once again calmly approuched the bar and ordered his favorite drink. Open its delivery he let it sit for a moment before taking a drink of it. He sighed and looked at the bar but he had a grin on his face. "Killed one let the other escape.. eh at least I killed one." Takin another lonmg drink he emptied the contents of the glass and set it down.

Tom had formulated a plan. He got the phone book and phoned the bar. This plan would rely on the hunter not remembering him though. This plan would take cunning skill and knowledge. This plan was one of the greatest.
"Hello, I need a job" Tom said on the phone.

Spike heard the phone ring and stared at as the manager answered it. He shrugged and drank the new contents of his drink. "Hmm.. now that I think about it I never got a good look at that other one." Shrugging the worry off he took another drink and set the glass down.

The manager told him that somebody who was working the bar had just died. 'perfect' Tom thought to himself. He was going to be right where he wanted to be. "That sounds great thanks, I'll be there tomorrow. Bye" Tom said hanging up the phone. He smirked and called up a friend of his. One who would collect venom from snakes and then put them up for sale. No questions asked. Tom bought the venom of a black mamba. He got his "package" the next morning and made his way to his job.

Raiden crawls to his window and out onto the ledge before leaping down to street level. He knows that he must head for the dark alley on 47th and Willow if he wants any feeding targets that shall not be missed by the public eye. He knows that it is the only alley where he can feed upon the "Unfortunates."

Tom served drinks normally and precisely to all of the morning customers. He wasn't completely lying actually, he did have a license to be a bartender (amazing what you cand do when you have 80 years in college) He was waiting for the hunter to show up occasionaly patting the deadly packet in his pocket.

Spike sauntered in, in his normal nonchalant way. Walking to his favorite seat in the bar he waited for the bartender to take his order.

This was his chance. Ok, steady now. No jumpin' the gun. walk up. ask for his order. "What do you need friend," Tom asked his knees shaking with excitement under the bar.

"I need an uncracked egg, water and a bit of vinegar.." Spike held his head and waited for the items to be served.
