They're complaining because they say it isn't true, which it mostly is according to the only sources I've seen so far, my Classics courses and materials.
The whole controversy is stupid because 300 never claims to be historically accurate, it's based completely on the work of Frank Miller. It's not not historically accurate, but it never makes claims otherwise.And they aren't nude, they're clothed like they are for mobility purposes and such in battle, people who are ignorant of these things are the stupid ones.
