that doesn't mean to say that Hulk is greater than Surfer, he clearly isn't. The Surfer can drain him or transmute him or bfr him or knock him out with a massive planet busting first strike... but if he lets Hulk fight him h2h, then it's over for Surfer.

WWH can't KO thanos before he vaporizes him with his cosmic powers. Not saying a single shot will do it since this Hulk can withstand a whisper from Blackbolt. However, there is no way Hulk can KO thanos before being killed by one of the various powers Thanos has.

hulk has the potential for infinite strength- he'd have to get infinitely angry and stay that way before hitting those kinds of levels.
Odin suggested that Thanos had a power source "as infinite and inexhaustible as his" That's a hell of a lot of power, and all thanos needs to do to amp his strength is think about it.
In terms of sheer skill, I'd give it to thanos also. Sorry, but he has the edge here.
