Hulk's a markedly interesting and deep character, psychology, origins, the Banner-Hulk dynamics. that's depth, much more so than is the norm with comics.

He's not refering to Hulk's characterization he's refering to Hulk's offensive abilities being limited to physical attacks.

I think everyone of these judgements could easily be challenged and, in the face of unprovoked hostility, the comments I made are pretty much an attempt to remain civil rather than indulge in reciprocity.

I haven't employed sarcasm in the above reply, merely addressed the fact that the poster has been petulant and obnoxious in his replies, by showing how little substance lies behind the great assertive statements that he posted up. sarcasm would be an entirely different animal.

Ironic coming from a person who's posts have no real substance of their own.

You seem to enjoy questioning the judgements of others without bothering to provide evidence of your own position.

I prefer to get an understanding of the basis for the assertions people make, regarding certain characters. I've very little interest in the promotion or aggrandisement of any specific character and so I often have very little to say on matters. except where I see some logical reason to object to a pronouncement and/or where a character seems to be obviously capable of feats/levels that are denied it.

you'll note that is the general tone of my more serious 'contributions' here.

First off, if you're using the example of Wolverine stabbing Thanos when he had the IG, or the crossover where they fought, you're an idiot. 😛 The first is total PIS and shit writing, the 2nd is worst writing and a non-canon crossover.

2nd, Surfer owns Hulk. That shouldn't even be in question. He's owned Hulk many many times. Now in H2H, with no powers or amping, eventually Hulk would beat him. But that's basically a blind/deaf/retarded Surfer. 😛

3rd, Thanos IS a planet buster. He has on-panel feats of destroying planets. His strength level is enough to school Hulk, Herc, Thor, Thing, Drax and a few others AT THE SAME TIME. His being stronger than the Hulk should also not be a question, but a fact.

4th, Although his H2H skills aren't used as often, keep in mind that he trained Gamora, who has insane H2H skills. And that he's punked people like Champion in a fist fight.

5th, Thanos is a genius. Probably the smartest guy in Marvel. Hulk is legally retarded most of the time. Now, if this is prof. Hulk or the new World War Hulk, that's not true. But Thanos is still at 10x smarter than Hulk.

As Grey Fox said, Thanos can just rip Hulk's head off and shit down his neck. Just like that. And he has beaten Hulk already on-panel.
