They barely have matches on their shows anymore.

It's a different style. Matches that are suppose to tell a story as oppose to outright technical prowess.
It's always been a soap opera but, these days, it seems to be coupled with less talent.
The legends are getting old (what else is new?), the new blood leaves something to be desired, some of the bigger stars are just boring and/or lacking talent and good story arcs' are far and few.
There are some exceptions as far as who is talented and/or entertaining (Y2J, HBK, Big Show, Shelton Benjamin, Paul London, Brian Kendrick and Matt Hardy) but, imo, it's not enough for me to watch.
TNA is more exciting to watch, and in my eyes, it's like watching an experiment. It entertains me, whether it fails one week or succeeds the next.
The great thing about it is the talent. Men who know how to wrestle and make it look cool.
The problem with it is the booking and story arcs, *cough* Russo *cough* and upper management not knowing how to run the company. They should listen to Lance Storm, who's been ranting about TNA for years now.
Personally, I'm an ROH guy, through and through. Don't really care about story too much. I prefer to watch great matches.
i have to be honest, the times i've seen tna i've been disappointed. dont forget john morrison in that list of good wwe wrrestlers too, hes been pretty good and always has some good moves. i just think yes, wwe is a soap opera, but it does the story lines (whether good or bad) better than tna. i think the story telling in tna leaves a lot to be disired.
ppv wasnt that great btw, matt hardy tried to have a good match but against mark hanry its going to be tough.... undertaker v bigshow was a little underpar for them, batista v jbl was also not upto scratch... jericho and michaels was entertaining, as was jeff and hhh.

Frankie Kazarian is coming back soon anyway, as Suicide, I'm looking forward to seeing how they use him. There should probably be an overall wrestling thread, cos this is technically off-topic.

I stand by the thought that TNA could be leaps and bounds better than the WWE if they would cut it out with the gimmick matches and have better booking (it should have been Joe vs. AJ at BFG, not Joe vs. Sting)

man they shouldnt even bother with sting.... hes more than past it. yeah cut teh shit out and sort the storylines out... not teh best writers it has to be said. dont get me wrong... wwe writers aint that great at the mo0... but they've got the money to pull shit off... tna looks half arsed.
Actually, Sting ain't half bad. He's old for sure but, he can still work a match and cut a decent pace, especially for his age.
The only debatable issue with a wrestler like Sting is his style. I would rather see the technical, fast pace, flashy wrestling that performers like Alex Shelly and Sonjay Dutt do but, I still respect the old school style.
On a different note, one issue I think TNA could tackle with relative ease, is in the writing. Russo has nine bad ideas and one good. They need a team to help clear out the bad and keep the good while producing good arcs of their own.
I think TNA would see a big improvement if someone would just tell Russo, "Dude, that idea sucks."
i think khali as a face will be hilarious... but in a good way. make him and rey a tag team for comedy purposes. would be incredible. rey could fly off khali instead of the turnbuckles!
i really wanna see jeff win a main title... then him and matt have a rivalry. not the type of rivalry where they'll hate each other... but just have it lead up to wresltemania where they end up with a double ko or something similar. could be epic.
haha yeah i think i remember that too. could be good for some chaos i think. i'd like to see title races a little more open, maybe have a couple more surprises every now and again too. instead of two or three people going for the title lets have 5 or 6. and rotate the belt around and make it a bit less predictable. could be good for the business and make it mean something when someone has a long run.
