yeah Hogan WAS WWF. but it must of got boring as a fan to see him over and over again, that was what was awesome when Taker came along, he scared the shit out of the kiddie fans.

I dont think their were fans of our intelligence back then, it was all beginning to be an entertainment thing with gimmicks and superstars. Heck they probably didnt know it was fixed results by a writing team.

Weekly Raw Rant....

well watched this yesterday after work and it was alright, I was hoping it would be a little bit better due to the success which was the Raw XV anniversary....but I was wrong.

They bring back Y2J to make him not get the title and not save us? He is being pushed back to JBL's rivarly? that blows.

Jeff Hardy is well building a top card career this part of the year, its great to see mid-card superstars who have been around for ages finally getting noticed - unlike pushing the next heavyweight who turns up ie Lesnar, Batista etc.

If I remember really hard, I think Jeff had a title shot against HHH on Raw back in 2000 or 2001. I think it was when WWE was at an all time low when HHH and Austin were tag champs and were fueding between Brothers of Destruction or Hardy Boyz? Can't remember

Discos - I do remember Taka Michanuko getting a title shot, he was like an inch away from winning it.

jericho should have won, but i'm glad JBL is coming back because he's arguably one of the most entertaining in the business.

and i was expecting HHH to go heel and use a sledgehammer on Hardy. Instead, he jobs and does a nice guy routine. 🙁

he should make another big story, but he needs to think it through unlike the bastard son storyline.
If kennedy hadn't have taken steroids and gotten suspended, Raw would be soo much better rite now.

so here's what i think are the top contenders for the wwe title when it comes to wrestlemania rite now:

Jeff Hardy
John Cena
Chris Jericho
Triple H
Shawn Michaels
Mr. Kennedy

and a Wildcard: JBL

No but the latest trend is that the heels always lose(excluding triple H is he is a heel) at mania and it would not surprise me if he would win if he competed.

like him or not, JBL is a GREAT heel and really does get people watching. I wouldn't be surprised if he got in the title match

I was looking at the wwe royal rumble page after reading an quick note about it. And if you look at Randy Orton's title in his hand the belt reads Triple H.

I dont even think they had time to swop the names about that night... Cena to Orton, Orton to HHH, HHH to Orton, the name badge guys must of been pissed.

I read on a few spoilers sites that the WWE is going to release a Sting dvd in 2008 (wwe owns all the wcw footage) even though Sting is in TNA so it will be interesting to see if sting is even on it and where the coverage of sting's career will end.I would say it would before he went to TNA though I wish TNA and WWE could make a joint video on Sting.

Sting WAS a legend, but he should have stopped before the millenium. How old is he again?

I did watch glimpses of TNA once, Sting and Angle were fueding for the title, it was nice 🙂

Not sure how old he is but I do know his new one yea contract ends at the end of 2008 and his wwe dvd will be released in december of 2008. Coincidence?
