Official WWE Thread

They can have good wrestling skills, but I didn't refer to HHH and HBK as being wrestling machines...and yes Jericho is good, but he seems odd now from when he left.

Like I said...is there a wrestling machine in the business now?

WWE is not the "business", there are other great federations outside of it.

There are none in WWE, plenty elsewhere.

Maybe that is why I had put that post into the..."Official WWE Thread" and was obviously referring to WWE when referring to the business...do not think I am ignorant of other wrestling federations, but when posting in a WWE Thread...then always assume I am referring to...what are the odds? WWE.

It would have been quicker to type WWE and avoid confusion, because even inside a WWE thread, it is not the entire business.

It should be considered so when it is the Official WWE Thread...not the Wrestling and all it's Federations Thread

I started a TNA thread for that purpose, but it went nowhere. LOL

^One problem with the TNA thread is that it has only one show per week (and they tape 2 weeks worth of episodes at a time) so you can't only talk about it so much.

I think this thread should be renamed the "official professional wrestling thread"

If it were named that...I would be able to see where AC was coming from.

In other news I was surprised to see that the background on wwe.com was of Brock Lesanr and the UFC. I guess they are starting to rebuilds the bridge that was burned by mania a few years ago. From what some sites have said is that Vince likes UFC (the wwe has talked about venturing into MMA

I had some time to kill before I go out so I listened to this radio debate between Konan and tna agent Glenn Gilbertti(Disco inferno) debate about TNa for about an hour and a half. It is pretty interesting to listen to if you have the time. Konan HATES tna and lots of wrestling fans in general.

I got to admit MMA as whole has been growing on me for a while and I'm definitely buying the PPV tomorrow night. I do think Lesanr has a shot at winning I have to give him credit becaus ehe said he didn't want his first UFC match to be against some amatuer.

He definitely pulls a "Luger" in it and Konan is right when he says that Glenn has to bias since he is working for them. Personally I think the sharkboy gimmick is retarded and I could not stand the family angle a few weeks ago. And I agree with Konan as to how TNA builds stars(compared to wwe) and how they prepare for a main event story wise and how much comedians tna tries to have.

thats actually wrong. when HHH returned in 2002, ratings went wayy up. when he won the championship especially.
But do u know what happened once the gave the belt to Hulk Hogan a month later??: the ratings went down

seems to me like he was vital to the wwe's success. and without HHH, you wouldn't even have seen those great feuds between HHH/Rock, HHH/Austin, HHH/Mankind, etc...

He's one of the best heels ever. of course they're gonna make the rock seem better because he was "the good guy."

^ That is my complaint overall about wrestling is how the heels always have to cheat and hardly ever get a clean victory. I don't think I would mind if they cheat to get the win but there is way to many matches (even on ppvs) that end with the champ getting DQ on purpose.
