OK my character is called Balkur he was a scientist on the planet Ukkur and is an Altalrian his race is the smartest race in the universe at the turn of the 20 century his race are at a level were they can be classed as gods. They are so advanced and intelligent and have answered must questions in the universe except the greatest which is How did all this begin. Although they are familiar with the theory's e.g Big bang and a supreme being they chose to ignore it and look for the answer themselves. Balkur and some other great scientist work on a devise called the universal truth its very purpose is to transcend time and space and reveal whats outside it and perhaps whose outside it. It takes 20yrs but the universal truth is completed though the answer to the greatest question in the universe is about to be answered the counsel of 8 in Ukkur decide against it as they believe some things are not meant to be answered. Balkur becomes infuriated and decides to find out the answer to the greatest question in the universe and succeeds in activating the universal truth in doing so Balkur becomes anchored to time and space itself and becomes Godly in every way possible having learnt the answer to the greatest question in the universe he now believes himself the greatest being in all existence apart from creation(creation is assumed to be the cause of all perhaps the big bang perhaps a supreme being)
Energy powers: Balkur has access to all forms of energy in the universe and controls them to the ultimate level.
Intelligence: Balkur is just as smart as any Altalrian.
Speed: Balkur is as fast as he needs to be under circumstances (although his fastest speed feat has been 2x faster than light)
Durability: Balkur body has been destroyed by darkseids omega effect but reformed within 3 minutes (Balkur has also been shown to feel pain when balkur revealed to superman he was the course of the disappearance of Lois lane superman punched him so hard balkur landed on the moon and stood up with the response ouch).
Mental powers: Balkur has been shown to read minds this was discovered when he told Clark Kent the eyes may be deceived but the mind never lies superman.
