He was an indestructible monster enemy of the JLA. He was also quite hairy, hence, shaggy man.

General Eiling took control of his body and shaved himself, becoming 'The General.'

Both were pretty much indestructible by any normal means, and would even IMMEDIATELY regenerate if vaporized.

As far as I know, the JLA only ever beat him two ways - one was by creating a SECOND Shaggy Man for him to fight, and trapping them both. The other was via BFR.

But, theoretically, any transmuter should be able to destroy him. Tons of people could BFR him.

As far as guy's earlier post. The thread was "Who in marvel can beat Shaggy Man?" Guy posted three characters that would OBLITERATE shaggy man.

pheonix, galactus, tyrant, odin, silver surfer, loki, dr. strange, mephisto, black bolt, and thanos... i can't think of anyone else at the moment.

Maybe send him flying. Definitely not knock him out.

And even if it obliterated him, he'd regenerate in a matter of panels.

Blackbolt could possibly beat him by whipping out some antimatter.

Hal beat him once iirc, by shrinking him, but that may have been Precrisis.
