Is Ja Ja really a racist stereotype?

and if so what was GL thinking?

Yep...and so are ewoks, watto, the neomodians...

Star Wars is our world "redux".

I don't want to get into detail about who's a sterotype of what at risk of offending anyone.

SW is also full of other analogies about ideologies and constructs in our world...Look at the Imperials..."Stormtroopers" + Vader's helmet = Nazi-sim.

It's also a mish mash of Eastern mysticism, Greek Mythology, etc...oh yeah, and Lord of the Rings is in there for good measure too!

But yes, Ja Ja is a sterotype...it's what Lucas does. Check out "George Lucas in Love" to see why his films have struck such a chord with audiences.

here is a rare pre-production photo of the original jar jar.

lucas later decided that this jar jar was too boring
and changed it to further showcase ilm's state of the art cgi.

😂

But seriously, this has been beaten to death a thousand times. CLOSING.
