12 posts is too many for a single character tourney match ... after 5 or 6 in the last few tourneys everyone was just repeating themselves.

Well it really doesn't matter to me. I was just stating what I believed had been said.

Meh, 6 seems too few to me. I'd vote for 8-10. I could handle that as a judge, even with long-ish posts.

Just as long as there's no "unofficial post" crap. Because that has been abused in the past unless it's for, say, fixing dead links and such.

8 seems good. after that things tend to get redundant anyway. 😬

Eight minus opening post is good for me.

8(PLUS the opening post) sounds good to me too, so we'll go with that. And for those of you with an upcoming match, feel free to send me your opening strategies as soon as you get them finished.
