Well if any of the judges are pretty much set in their decision I don't really mind if they go ahead and vote. Technically the matches will end at midnight(my time) which is still a while off, so if nothing anyone's saying is likely to change their mind, there's no reason why they should have to wait that long.

Well that's the way it went in batdude's tourney, the judges where allowed to start voting the last day of the match. I thought that's the way it normally went?

Our match is pretty much done ... we've both used 7 of our 8 posts so not much is likely to change.

Still ... it makes sense to hold off the votes until the debate portion has officially ended.

in bats's tourney, he set a midnight deadline -- everyone knew when the match was ended and judges didn't vote til past the deadline -- or they weren't supposed to. 😬

if you DECLARE the matches over, that's fine with me. that or set a definite time limit, imo.

Wow wow wow, I just read the last post alittle while ago and am only almost finished with my responce now. I don't have a problem with a exact deadline but give me just a few finish my replies before I read about it being over.

What timezone are you in? I'm in Cali. I'd rather wait until all arguments are presented before I make my judgment. It's unfair to the combatants if I don't hear their full case and make my decision.
