Helo 2 disk - Xbox 360

When I load my Halo 2 up, everything is fine.

When I try to load a Halo 2 Map, it just says "Waiting to Connect to map" forever.

Why?

I have all map packs downloaded... Also, none of the original maps work either.

It's prolly a flaw in the disk or you need to clean the reader. I had one that did that too.

I had something like that earlier today, but mine did that for only a second.

I went on Team Hardcore, and when it found the game, at the same time, it found all 8 players needed. Then it said I failed to load the map, even though I have them all. hmm

My 360 does that all the time, but I think I need to clean the games.

ok basically yoiur 360 preloads the maps to the HDD for easier loading. you may have a destroyed disc and still be able to play halo if you experiance any trouble loading maps. try loading a matchmaking gametype as the new update whipped the HDD so i needs to preload the maps again. if this doesnt work try lending a freinds disk loading a eahc map from his disk then playing each for a few mins if this contiues stop being cheap and buy halo2 again its like £7
