What the hell are you talking about? Recently Superman has been portrayed as the consistent most powerful hero in DC. Barr none.He beats guys other heroes can't, he beats his peers in direct showings (which ALWAYS hold more worth in terms of feats imo), and he beats teams of heroes away like nothing.
While other teams of heroes get their shit kicked against a villain, Superman comes in a bi
tch slaps him away. We can't ignore these simply because we may not like them.Gladiator doesn't compare to him... at least not anymore. While Gladiator is getting embarrassed by Hulk and Cannonball, Superman is showing up his fellow heroes in combat. 😂
Case closed. Any more attempts at trying to deface Superman into being a tier below where he ought to be will be ignored.
Not trying to drop superman, but i gotta address a few statements.
Cap Marvel has beaten groups of possessed heroes( those rare times that he's around, that is) and does that mean he's above the rest, ala Superman?
Gladiator doesn't compare to him?
He doesn't equal him, sure.
But he doesn't dwarf Gladiator, and i'd call you silly to say otherwise.
Gladiator fought Hulk, did well, was disoriented by a thunderclap to the ears, and then got laid low when a major plotdevice was introduced to the story.
Same would happen to Superman, back when the story was written. This was when Kryptonite was an actual threat.
And lol at Gladiator getting knocked down by someone keyed into their own damn near universe of kinetic energy being a bad showing.
Flash goes past lightspeed and drops an imp on someone uber, and it's all the rage, but someone who works along similar lines does the same thing, and he's hot garbage?
Not to mention, he wasn't even really hurt iirc......low showing indeed.
This gross exagerration of Gladiators low showings really get me going.
